　　王先生是科技七路西段的住戶，這兩天，他出門時看到的景象讓他很吃驚：道路兩邊的垂柳，突然被人削去了“腦袋”，只剩下光禿禿的樹乾。“長得好好的，咋說砍就砍？”昨天，王先生告訴記者，這些垂柳生長多年了，早已成型，成了科技七路上的一道風景線，聽說砍垂柳是為了栽種其他樹，他覺得這是“瞎折騰”。昨天下午3點，記者來到科技七路西段，看到路南側一排垂柳被整個砍去了枝乾，剩下的?乎都是光禿禿的主乾。從科技七路東口向西看，一片光禿禿的，一眼望不到儘頭。而整個路北側的垂柳都還完好無損，這些樹直徑都在二三十厘米以上，樹冠高大樹形優美,台南回頭車，蒼翠的枝條隨風浮動，婀娜多姿。此時,300棵垂柳要“搬傢”附近住戶很不捨，10多名工人師傅正拿著鐵鍬等工具，在路南側樹根部開挖，大多數垂柳的根已被挖出。
