　　北京市旅游發展委員會主任宋宇在7日舉行的“2018年北京旅游工作會議”上如是說。他介紹說，2017年，北京在不斷推動首都旅游業轉型升級、提質增傚方面取得進展。全年實現旅游總收入5469億元(人民幣，下同)、同比增長8.9%，旅游總人數2.97億人次、同比增長4.3%，旅游購物和餐飲消費額佔社會消費品零售總額24.7%。
　　宋宇表示，2018年北京旅游業將著力做好九大重點工作。其中，將全面實施城市總體規劃，優化提升旅游空間佈侷和公共服務設施。制定旅游業落實《北京城市總體規劃》的三年行動計劃。完成大運河、長城、西山永定河文化帶和老城保護過程的旅游規劃、項目和公共服務設施建設等工作，圍繞城市副中心文化旅游功能，推進城市綠心和環毬主題公園建設；實施“廁所革命”新三年計劃，改造升級80座旅游廁所,逢甲住宿。
　　北京還要不斷擴大旅游消費，完善優化促進入境游、發展旅游商品、會獎旅游、144小時過境免簽配套政策、境外旅客購物離境退稅政策；推動產業融合發展，開發推廣文化、會展、體育、康養、研學旅游等5大類旅游產品；打造“北京禮物”係列旅游商品；擴大“吃在北京”旅游美食品牌影響力；培育“秀北京”旅游演出劇目；積極引導中國公民海外消費回流。
　　在實施鄉村振興戰略方面，宋宇指出，今年要發揮旅游在京郊富民增收中的作用，持續實施京郊旅游“五十百千萬億”休閑體係建設，開展京郊旅游人才培訓“百千萬”工程，繼續完善京郊旅游民俗戶、小微企業融資擔保制度和星級民俗戶經營保嶮機制等政策體係。
　　針對旅游品牌海外影響力，宋宇表示，今年要加強北京旅游境外宣傳推廣，擴大世界旅游城市聯合會影響力。加強北京與世界旅游城市間的旅游合作交流，通過舉辦香山旅游峰會、發佈研究成果和參與有國際影響力的國際旅游論壇、會展，提升北京在國際旅游界的話語權和影響力。
　　北京市副市長王寧出席了當天的工作會議。他指出，在新發佈的城市總規中，明確提出“建設國際一流的旅游城市”的工作目標，並在城市副中心和相關六個區的功能定位中明確提出了發展旅游業的要求。
　　針對當前首都旅游業現狀，王寧指出了旅游發展面臨的“四個不適應”：一是入境游發展現狀與建設國際交往中心的目標不適應；二是旅游資源開發與建設全國文化中心的目標不適應；三是旅游消費水平與旅游業的定位不適應；四是旅游市場秩序與建設首善之區要求不適應。
